The music of John Denver has certainly endured the test of time.  Even a decade after his tragic death, people still flock to hear his beautiful lyrics and soaring melodies.

There has always been a huge fan base for Denver's music.  His own introspection and his love of people and nature continue to resonate in his songs.  Take Me Home, Country Roads, Annie's Song, Back Home Again, and Thank God I'm a Country Boy are still staples on today's radio.  Though John Denver is gone, the beauty and excitement of his music live on in every note and word of his songs, lovingly performed by the Friends With You Band.

The core members of the band-Chris Collins, Mark Cormican, Kevin Delmolino, and Paul Swanton-met in Aspen, Colorado in 2004 during the annual week devoted to paying tribute to John Denver.  They jammed informally and decided to perform together around the country.  Despite living in different regions of the United States, when these talented artists come together, the music is magical.  They are frequently joined by other dedicated and gifted musicians.

A Wisconsin native currently residing in Houston, Texas, Chris Collins is a singer/songwriter, recording engineer, and all-around great performer.  He has twice been selected as a top-10 regional finalist at the Kerrville Folk Festival.  With two CDs to his credit, he has a special way of making each person feel like the song he is singing is just for them.

Mark Cormican was born and raised in Northern Kentucky and tours regularly in support of his fifth CD, Live at the Music Cafe.  His One Fine Autumn Day, written for John Denver following his death, became part of a tribute album and concert in Colorado.  His simple, folksy style recalls the music of John Prine, James Taylor, and, of course, John Denver.

Originally from Massachusetts and now living in central Maryland, Kevin Delmolino has spent the better part of 30 years as a singer and musician.  Equally comfortable on bass and guitar, he can be heard moonlighting as half of Frederick's own Kevin and Dale Experience.

Paul Swanton, also a Massachusetts boy, is well known for his hot guitar picking and quiet personality.  Not only has he spent the last 30 years perfecting most of the guitar licks in the John Denver canon, as well as many others, but he has also recently completed a John Denver song book for acoustic guitarists.
