CincyDance! with the Cincinnati Ballet

In working toward the goal of enriching the lives of diverse audiences, Cincinnati Ballet is proud to embark on its fourteenth season of Cincy Dance!, a collaborative effort between Cincinnati Ballet, 16 local schools and community centers to provide free dance instruction to students in the Greater Cincinnati/Northern Kentucky areas. The program begins with six weeks of dance instruction through our First Steps Residency. Some of those students will be invited to participate in a free 20 week Ballet Foundations class taught at Cincinnati Ballet studios. Graduates of Ballet Foundations are in the running for full scholarships in Cincinnati Ballet Otto M. Budig Academy.

In 2009-2010 665 students participated in the First Steps Residency, 80 attended the Ballet Foundations and 12 have been offered scholarships for this fall.
