Facility Rental Information Located in the heart of historic Covington, KY, The Carnegie Visual and Performing Arts Center is one of the tri-state's premiere arts and events venues. The Carnegie facility includes many spaces to accommodate a wide range of events and performances. Built in 1902, The Carnegie is an exemplary example of the Beaux Arts style of architecture so popular at the turn of the 20th century. It features a circular balcony and open rotunda overlooking the main floor. Above that is an impressive amber glass dome, as well as two floors of gallery space connected by dual ornately carved winding staircases. The Carnegie also features a fully restored theater modeled after a 19th century French Opera House which features historically restored paintings and plaster work in addition to the modern amenities like air conditioning and plush comfortable seating.
